Industrial 3D Animation & Rendering for Heavy Industry
From CAD data to photoreal equipment renders, cutaway animations, plant walkthroughs, and training films. One 3D pipeline for sales, engineering, HSE, and investor communication.
ArchiCGI is an industrial animation company. Manufacturers, EPC contractors, and plant operators come to us with CAD files and process diagrams, and leave with industrial 3D animation that sells equipment, trains crews, and wins approvals. A gearbox assembles itself on screen. A production line runs at full speed. A plant that so far exists only in drawings gets its first walkthrough.

Recent Industrial 3D Animation & Rendering Projects
Three industrial animation projects here: chemical, power, refrigeration. All three began as raw client CAD and survived at least two rounds of engineering review.
Chemical · Plant overview · Stakeholder presentation
Niochim × TEPE İnşaat: Soda Ash Plant Walkthrough
A full plant walkthrough from raw material intake to finished soda ash. Built jointly with TEPE İnşaat for Niochim, the Kharkiv-based chemical engineering institute behind the plant’s core process design. Used to align stakeholders on a major industrial build.
Equipment animation showing the modular installation of peripheral packages around the SGT6-9000HL gas turbine. Pre-assembled frames with piping, valves, and auxiliary systems are placed in sequence, demonstrating how the updated modular design simplifies site assembly.
Product comparison animation for the launch of Emerson’s next-generation CO2 booster system. Shows how the new Copeland CO2 scroll compressors with Dynamic Vapour Injection replace traditional architecture with fewer components, a lighter system, and a more compact footprint.
Photoreal still renders for catalogs and datasheets, cutaway and process animations for training and stakeholder alignment, plus interactive 3D and VR when a viewer needs to explore on their own.

1. Brief & Technical Scope
You send us CAD, P&ID, PFD, or hand sketches. We accept SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, AutoCAD, and STEP files.
2. Storyboard & Validation
Every shot is reviewed and approved by your engineers before animation begins.
3. 3D Modeling & Animation
Production runs with mid-stage reviews, so revisions happen early and cheaply.
4. Delivery
Final video in any format. Source files, multi-language voiceover, and on-screen graphics on request.
Industrial 3D Rendering Portfolio
Plant tours, equipment renders, and process visualizations across chemical, energy, manufacturing, and refrigeration.
Industrial 3D Animation Samples

Sales & trade-show
Gas Turbine Product Film
Product marketing reel for a 50-MW industrial gas turbine, built for trade shows and buyer conversations.
Process animation
Automated Warehouse Robotics
Indoor warehouse animation with autonomous mobile robots and robotic arms picking cases from pallet racking.
Logistics animation
Warehouse Yard Logistics Flow
Aerial view of a distribution yard showing trailer movement, dock scheduling, and yard signage.
Training & HSE
Forklift Safety HSE Training
Operator training film with DO/DONT callouts covering forklift safety guidelines and authorized personnel rules.
Industries We Serve
3D rendering and animation remove the language barrier between your engineers and the people you need to convince.
Chemical
Process plants are mazes of vessels, reactors, and piping. A 3D plant tour turns a P&ID into a film stakeholders can actually follow.
Oil & Gas
Upstream platforms, midstream pipelines, and refineries are too dangerous to film. Animation visualises every operation safely and at any scale.
Power & Energy
Turbines, gensets, and substations are sold on engineering detail. CGI shows internals, modular assembly, and site fit without shipping hardware.
Mining
Pits, conveyors, and processing plants stretch across kilometres. Animation gives investors and regulators a single legible view of the full operation.
Cement
Kilns, mills, and silos hide their processes behind 50 m of concrete. We open them up in a single film: material flow, heat recovery, emissions controls.
Steel
From DRI plants to rolling mills, steel production is hot, dangerous, and visually inaccessible. CGI delivers the buyer’s tour you can’t run on site.
Pharma
Cleanrooms, reactors, and fill-finish lines need GMP-grade communication. Training and audit films built on real CAD shorten qualification and onboarding.
Heavy Machinery
OEMs need to demonstrate cycle, payload, and maintenance access in a trade-show loop or a sales meeting. We turn the CAD into the sales pitch.
Refrigeration
Booster systems, scroll compressors, and CO2 architectures are won on comparison. Side-by-side animations explain new platforms in 90 seconds.
Frequently Asked Questions
Everything industrial clients usually ask about pricing, timelines, CAD data, and confidentiality.
What is industrial 3D animation?
Industrial 3D animation is video made from CAD models instead of a camera. It shows equipment, a process, or a whole plant in motion. The approach wins when the subject is too big to film, too dangerous to visit, or simply not built yet. A turbine comes apart shot by shot. A production line runs on screen exactly the way the engineers drew it. Clients order these videos for sales demos, operator training, and investor decks.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing depends on duration, complexity, level of detail, and number of revisions. A short equipment animation of 60 to 90 seconds typically starts in the low five figures USD. Still renders for a datasheet start in the low four figures. A full plant tour can range significantly higher. Send us your scope through the contact form and we will send back an itemized quote.
How long does a typical project take?
Product still renders take 1 to 3 weeks. Equipment animations take 4 to 6 weeks. Plant tours and process films take 8 to 12 weeks. Rush projects can be accommodated with planning.
What do you need from us to start?
Technical documentation such as CAD models, P&ID, PFD, or detailed drawings, one engineering point of contact for validation, and a brief on the audience and key messages. We can also work from photos, sketches, or reference videos if 3D data is not available.
What if we do not have complete 3D data?
That is common. We have built many projects from partial data: STEP files of key components plus photos and drawings for the rest. We rebuild what is missing in 3D as part of the project.
How do you handle confidentiality?
We sign NDAs as standard before any technical material is shared. Our team has worked with confidential CAD from global OEMs and chemical producers. We can also operate under your company data handling protocols.
Can we get the project files after delivery?
Yes. We deliver the final video in any format including MP4, MOV, and ProRes, and can provide source 3D files and project files on request. Many clients prefer this for future updates or in-house editing.
What languages can you deliver in?
Any. We handle voiceover and on-screen graphics in any language. For multi-market campaigns, we typically deliver a base English version plus localized variants.
What software and formats do you support?
We accept SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, AutoCAD, Revit, STEP, IGES, and most other industrial CAD formats. Internally we work in industry-standard 3D and rendering pipelines.
Do you make interactive 3D and VR, or only video?
Both. Beyond linear video, we build interactive product configurators, browser-based 3D walkthroughs, and VR training experiences.
Who validates technical accuracy?
Your engineers. We hold structured review sessions at the storyboard stage and again after the first rough animation pass. Nothing renders to final until your technical team has approved.
Do you offer updates when equipment changes?
Yes. Many clients return to update animations when a design evolves or a new product variant is released. Because we keep the source 3D files, updates are typically faster and cheaper than starting over.
