#1. Maison&Objet

Maison&Objet Paris is one of the most prominent events for interior designers in Europe that focuses on decoration and lifestyle. Its biannual physical exhibition as well as the all-year-round digital platform are designed to boost the businesses’ visibility and build connections. The numbers at Maison&Objet are quite impressive. It brings together over 6,500 brands and designers, thousands of buyers from nearly 150 countries, and more than 270,000 international professionals from hospitality, architecture, and design each year.
The January show now runs over five days, from Thursday to Monday, and nearly half of the collections debut at each edition, so visitors always see fresh trends and brand-new designs. The September 2026 edition took place on September 10–14.

#2. Madrid Design Festival

Every winter, the Madrid Design Festival turns the city into a hub of creativity with exhibitions and installations at key venues. 2027 will be its tenth edition; the 2026 festival ran from February 6 to March 8.
Alongside it runs FORMA, the festival’s design fair at Matadero Madrid, where studios and brands present new work. For interior designers, it is a chance to gain fresh perspectives and network with industry leaders.
#3. Salone del Mobile.Milano

Established in 1961, Salone del Mobile is one of the oldest events for interior designers in Europe. Initially organized to promote Italian furniture, today Salone del Mobile is the must-see event for designers and other professionals in related fields from all over the world.
The 65th Salone del Mobile takes place from April 13–18, 2027, at Fiera Milano Rho. Odd years bring back the biennial shows: Euroluce for lighting, EuroCucina with FTK for kitchens, and the International Bathroom Exhibition. Alongside them runs SaloneSatellite, a platform dedicated to showcasing works of emerging designers.

#4. London Design Festival

Every September, London Design Festival fills the city with installations, exhibitions, and talks across design districts such as Shoreditch, Mayfair, Brompton, and Bankside, with partner programmes at the V&A and the Design Museum. 2027 marks its 25th anniversary.
For interior designers, the district showrooms and launches make it one of the easiest ways to see a season of new work in a single week. The World Design Congress, which we covered in earlier editions of this article, moves to Seoul in 2027.
#5. Decorex

Decorex is a high-end interior exhibition first established in 1978. Each year it showcases furniture, fabrics, lighting, and decorative craft objects from more than 280 exhibitors, together with a programme of talks.
It is the right place for interior designers to discover materials, exchange creative ideas, and establish valuable connections with suppliers. The 2027 dates will be announced after this year’s show.
#6. Stockholm Furniture Fair

The leading Scandinavian furniture and lighting fair returns in February 2027 after skipping 2026, and from now on it will take place every two years.
Stockholm Design Week runs across the city at the same time, from February 8–14, with showroom openings and exhibitions, so one trip covers both.
